I can honestly say Im at the place, you know the phase that your fellow small-children-veterans used to talk about- they would croon "this too shall pass"... "You'll sleep through the night SOME day." With the exception of when the boys are sick, I actually have nights of REST. Yeah, I said it. Sleep. Those days seemed so far off in my tearful moments of sleep deprivation. And yet here we are.
My oldest is learning to read. Like. WORDS. And my youngest is starting to speak words. It blows my mind!
L.J.'s favorite words right now:
"Heh" (here) this is his universal word to hand me things (everything) or identify something he wants. I hear it several hundred times a day.
"Da-duh!" (Please) don't ask me how he got started on that.
"Hi-yah" (hello)
"Nigh-nigh" (night night)
E told me a knock knock joke.. It's his favorite one- goes something like this:
E "knock-knock"
Me "Who's there"
E "Orange"
Me "orange who?"
E "hahahahahaha.............. Knock knock"
Gets me every time.
